Sterilization Equipment
The proper sterilization of equipment is essential for the safety of both patient and clinician in the healthcare environment. There are several ways to sterilize equipment and instruments, including using pressurized steam, dry heat, and EtO gas. Autoclaves are the most common device used to sterilize equipment. While ultrasonic cleaning does not by itself sterilize items, the addition of sterilizing disinfectant to the cleaning solution does render items sterilized. CME offers autoclave sterilization equipment in a variety of sizes for laboratory, hospital, or pharmaceutical use. Ultrasonic cleaners and sterilization accessories such as trays and baskets are also available through CME.
