Logistics

Our white glove, turn-key delivery service for equipment is more than just having a truck at your loading dock. Our trained personnel can receive, assemble, inspect, stage, and deliver your equipment on a schedule that works for your facility. Even if you’ve bought your equipment outside of CME, our logistics and warehousing services are available to you.

Biomedical Services

Our relationship does not end at installation. Our licensed Biomedical Service Technicians are here to keep your equipment serviced and calibrated. As licensed and certified technicians, they can either complement your in-house team, or act as your primary source of calibrations and maintenance.

Timeline

1978

After being spun out from ‘The Claflin Company’, established in 1817, ‘Claflin Service Company’ is born with a focus on providing technical services to the non-acute healthcare market.

1981

We obtained our first biomedical service contract from a hospital.

1986

The company refocused on equipment sales for the hospital and non-acute markets with technical services being our key differentiator.

1998

We entered into our first national GPO contract.

2004

We were awarded our first Government FSS schedule contract for equipment.

2008

We moved to our current corporate headquarters, more than doubling the warehouse space.

2010

We acquired a warehouse and service center in Indiana, which was our first expansion outside of the New England area.

2015

We merged with Hospital Associates and acquired RSI, making CME Corp the first healthcare equipment focused distributor with a nationwide presence.

2016

We processed our 500,000th order.

2018

We expanded to 8 warehouses and 30+ service centers in 49 United States.

As a leader, Norm’s open door policy and mentorship provides staff with a feeling of connection, allowing employee’s to cultivate confidence as they develop their career paths with CME.

As our company continues to grow, it is Norm’s clear understanding of industry trends and best practices that will allow the company to continue servicing clients with the level of professionalism that CME has become known for providing.

KC Meleski

President

K.C. has been instrumental in shaping CME's growth and national presence in the healthcare industry since joining the company in 2001 as an Account Manager.

Under K.C.’s leadership, CME continues to evolve as a first-class healthcare solutions organization. His vision focuses on positioning CME for continued expansion and long-term success in an ever-changing healthcare landscape.

Since 2018, KC has actively contributed to the Healthcare Industry Distributors Association (HIDA), serving on the Acute Care Advisory Council, as a member of the Board of Directors, and most currently as the President elect.

Eric Robinson

Executive Vice President, Operations

Eric is the mind you want on your logistics team. His experience in planning and implementing equipment purchases, delivery, and installation are genuinely first hand.

He started his career at CME as a Biomedical Technician in 1992, and later transitioned into various leadership roles for biomedical and installation services.

In his current role, Eric oversees the internal and external operational supply chain that supports CME’s product offerings, including warehousing, staging, logistics, DTS, and installation and technical services.

Brian Wilson

Chief Financial Officer

With a career spanning over 30 years, Brian has had the opportunity to guide transportation, logistics, and distribution companies through periods of significant growth and change. He has established a proven track record of leading organizations through complex mergers and acquisitions as well as strategic business transformations. With experience in both public and private businesses Brian brings to the table a comprehensive perspective on what it takes to improve profitability and shareholder value.

He holds a CFA charter, an MBA from the University of Miami, and a BS in Finance from Southern Illinois University.

 

Peter Wyner

Chief Information Officer

Throughout his 25-year career as an IT professional and leader, Peter has brought his entrepreneurial, customer-oriented approach to technology management into public and private companies alike.  With a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, and a Master’s in Computer Information Systems from Boston University, Peter’s educational background serves as a cornerstone for business operations. In 2020, he joined the CME leadership team with the goal of delighting both internal and external customers with industry-leading services and solutions. 

Kristen Sisson

Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer

In addition to drive, objectivity, and a keen strategic mind, Kristen has the ability to rally and focus people around a common goal. She is an innovative leader and brings over 25 years of marketing, channel, and e-commerce experience to CME. Kristen understands that measurement, analysis, and interpretation of data are essential for effective strategy. With her deep-seated understanding of marketing disciplines  she is someone you look forward to collaborating with. Kristen sit's on both the HIDA Acute Care Council and the Educatinal Foundational Board. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.

Maricar Caressimo

Chief Human Resource Officer

When tackling the complexities of 21st century human resources Maricar’s focus is on authenticity, fairness, and consistency.  As the architect of CME’s Human Resources Department Maricar’s aim is to help people understand more than their opinions. A licensed SHRM Certified Professional, she brings more than twenty years progressive human resources leadership to CME. Maricar graduated from Rhode Island College with a BS, Business Management, Human Resources and has honed her human resources leadership skills across a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, retail, precious metals, and engineering services.

William Malo

Chief Accounting Officer

Across a variety of industries, Bill has developed a reputation as a collaborative leader keenly focused on anticipating business needs and finding solutions. Prior to joining CME, Bill had 20+ years of extensive, managerial experience holding senior financial leadership positions in the hospitality, consumer fashion, and wholesale food industries. Bill performed his undergraduate work at Bryant University, later attending Boston College where he earned his MBA. He has experience managing large teams as well as being a significant individual contributor, and he looks forward to continuing his success with CME.

Mike Abbott

Executive Vice President, Vendor Relations

Mike has been involved in the healthcare industry since 1972, and has been focused on developing product and supplier strategies for decades. As CME’s leader in managing and negotiating supplier programs, Mike nurtures positive relationships with all existing and potential vendors. Mike leads CME in efforts that enhance the company's value to the vendor community. With more than 2,000 manufacturers offering products through CME, Mike truly knows what options are available in our marketplace.

Keith Olson

Vice President of Regional Sales

Keith started his career as an intern and later, returned as an Account Manager for the Boston area. From there Keith moved into leadership of the Eastern Sales Team. Over the last decade Keith has cultivated relationships with large IDNs such as Beth Israel, Lahey Health, and General Brigham Health. He has helped solidify CME's reputation and presence in both the Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States.

Bob Charon

Vice President, Specialty Sales

Bob has been at the helm of CME Government Sales since 2016 after serving as a CME Account Manager. He has been pivotal in establishing and expanding the Government team and securing multi-year, multimillion dollar GSA contracts for CME. Bob is also spearheading initiatives focused on continuing to grow relationships with general contractors.

Kelli Bugbee

Vice President, Administrative Operations

For over 20 years, Kelli has held roles in customer service in one form or another. Since joining CME Corp. in 2019 as a Customer Service Representative, Kelli has broadened her experience through her responsibilities as the Purchasing Supervisor, Purchasing Manager, and Corporate Director of Customer Service & Purchasing. Kelli holds a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College and a Performance Leadership Certificate from Cornell SC Johnson College of Business.

Dan Chevrette

Vice President, Service Solutions

Dan has been a part of CME in one capacity or another since 2001. Over the years, he has lent his critical thinking and problem-solving strengths to roles in returns, purchasing, inside sales, and account management. This extensive experience and knowledge has served as the foundation for Dan’s leadership of CME services. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Services from Bryan University and completed a Certificate in Strategic Organizational Leadership from Villanova University. Reflecting his commitment to professional growth and excellence in leadership, Dan has completed The Landmark Forum and Advanced Forum programs.

Wade Oliveira

Vice President, Distribution Operations

When Wade joined CME in 2020, he brought with him 10 years supply chain and strategic distribution leadership expertise. He has continued to put his expertise into practice with the expansion of CME’s distribution network across the country to support major healthcare networks and facilities nationwide.  From receiving, inventory control, and asset protection, to operations, merchandising and general management, Wade has done it all. He holds a B.S. In Operations & Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University, a Certification of Specialization in Leadership and Management from Harvard, and is Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) through the Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM).
