Accucold Med-Lab Performance Series Compact Refrigerators

Unlike traditional dial thermostats, Accucold™ Med-Lab Refrigerators use digital thermostats which offer more precise control over the temperature and allow users to set it in the range of 2 to 10°C. The current high and low internal temperatures are shown on the temperature display and are updated every 15 minutes. The temperature display can be adjusted by users to show in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The Medical Refrigerators use dual temperature sensors which allow for greater temperature accuracy. One sensor reads the internal temperature of the air while the other sits encased in a glycol-filled bottle and is used to simulate the temperature of items stored inside the Refrigerator. The buffered temperature probe encased in the glycol-filled bottle has a ±1°C in temperature variation.

A set of internal fans provide forced air cooling to keep temperatures stable and uniform throughout. To prevent ice build up and the temperature spikes they can cause, the Laboratory Refrigerators have a user adjustable automatic defrost cycle. To help keep Med-Lab Refrigerators running efficiently, multiple alarms are included for alerting staff. When the internal temperature exceeds the set range or there is a disruption in the temperature sensors, visual and audible alarms will trigger to alert staff.
