With the ability to produce up to 2455 lbs of ice per day, this Scotsman FME2404AS-32 air cooled ice machine will keep up with the ice demands of your restaurant, bar, or institution. This unit produces flake ice, which cools more quickly than other ice forms, making it ideal for fish, beverage, and produce displays. Besides having a high ice output, this ice machine also features a durable stainless steel construction with large, self-aligning spherical roller bearings, a double-flight auger to evenly distribute the ice load, and a heavy duty direct drive gearbox.
In order to make upkeep easier and extend the time between routine maintenance, this unit has an AutoSentry monitoring system to prevent the system from shutting down as well as a water sensor to lower the risk of water failures. Its plastic drain pan is designed to channel water away from the machine to prevent build-up and rust. Plus, its drain system includes a one-piece plastic drain tube with a large inner diameter for unobstructed water flow.
