The Allied Healthcare Demand / Resuscitator Valve provides 100% oxygen in emergency cases, and can be paired with a mask, tracheotomy tube, or endotracheal tube. The valve itself can be triggered through spontaneous patient breaths.
The Demand / Resuscitation Valve is completely compliant with AHA guidelines for providing oxygen to heart attack and/or smoke inhalation patients. The valve itself can be compatible with pressure-regulated oxygen cylinders or other oxygen sources, as long as the regulated supply is at 40 to 60 psig (275 to 413 kPa).
The Allied Healthcare Demand / Resuscitator Valve is easy to clean and maintain. Even obstructions in the valve can be removed from the device during resuscitation, for patient safety. The body of the valve is made from anodized aluminum with the outlets and inlet fittings constructed from polysufone and plated brass, respectively. These materials are durable in harsh environments and can withstand hazardous materials.
