Ultra Firm Edging rises above the horizon of the sleep surface, gently directing the patient away from the edge of the bed and helping prevent side-rail entrapment. The soft central exit area facilities supported transfers and sitting at the edge of the bed. A more conventional mattress appearance protects patient dignity.
