The entire package comes with a case and mesh bag, perfect for storage in a multi-user environment. SmartCuffs Pro is designed exclusively for clinics and healthcare professional. SmartCuffs Pro facilitates blood flow restriction training (BFRT), which safely restricts venous blood flow from a working muscle but allows arterial blood flow to that working muscle. BFR is instrumental in allowing patients to begin post-surgical rehab sooner than previously done. The Pro pump monitors and autoregulates pressure inside the cuff during exercise. The cuffs are 4" wide for safety as lower pressures are required to achieve LOP. Beyond rehab patients, SmartCuffs PRO are also beneficial to those who are Immobile or mobility-restricted, bed ridden, casted, the elderly, athletes in active recovery and those suffering from decreased joint/tissue loads. Blood flow restriction (BFR) is a training and rehabilitation strategy involving the use of cuffs or bands placed around a limb during exercise, to maintain arterial inflow to the muscle while preventing venous return (venous occlusion). Assists with increased muscle size (Hypertrophy), increased muscle strength, increased cardiovascular capacity and increased GH, IGF1 (and maybe testosterone).
