Harloff's MR-Conditional Narrow Six Drawer Emergency Cart is designed and built for safe use in the strong magnetic fields present in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) suites. It is constructed using non-magnetic or "weakly magnetic" materials, such as aluminum, stainless steel and plastic, as well as aluminum and brass attachment hardware. The cart is tested by an independent testing authority to 3 Tesla level standards, and meets the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International level with designation: F2503-05 definition of "MR-Conditional."
Utilizing a narrow design for MRI suites where floor space is an issue, the cabinet itself is painted gloss white (hard-baked powder coat finish) with an MRI identification sticker applied, while there are 13 drawer colors to choose from. A stainless steel pull-out shelf is there for quick and convenient use, while low-ferrous ball-bearing full extension drawer slides and casters (5", full swivel - 1 brake, 1 directional) offer smooth, reliable operation. It features six drawers: 2 3.25", 1 4", 2 6.5" and 1 9.75".
