With the ability to produce up to 1180 lbs of ice per day, this Scotsman FS1222L-1 Prodigy Plus remote cooled low side flake ice machine will keep up with the ice demands of your restaurant, bar, or institution. This unit produces flake ice, which cools more quickly than other ice forms and is ideal for seafood and produce displays, as well as for salad bar fruits and vegetables. Plus, its remote condenser (sold separately) can be placed on a roof, outside your building, or in another room to cut down on noise in the room where the ice machine is located.
In order to make upkeep easier and extend the time between routine maintenance, this unit features AutoAlert lights that indicate when it's time to descale and sanitize as well as removable panels for easy access to internal components and the diagnostics interface. This ice machine's air filter is removable and reusable.
This remote cooled unit can be used with a compatible ice bin (sold separately) to meet your ice-making needs. The unit is equipped with 2 circuit wires, and consumes 0.82 kWh of energy per 100 lbs. of ice produced. It consumes 12 gallons of potable water per 100 lbs. of ice, and uses R-404A refrigerant. The ice heads are designed to operate with external condensing units (sold separately). This unit requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
