The Seca 703 Digital High Capacity Column Scale with 660 lb. Weight Capacity and Wireless Transmission
Wireless column scales with capacity up to 660 pounds
Weighing small children to obese patients – the seca 703 can do it all. Especially when it comes to finding out BMI and height. Then there are two options: integrate a mechanical measuring rod (the measuring rod seca 220 will be delivered with the scale) or receive data wirelessly from a separate digital stadiometer. Other heavyweight advantages include the scale's capacity of up to 660 lbs, the large and flat platform and the time-saving functions Pre-TARE, HOLD, auto-HOLD and mother/child. With everything primed for the future and integration in EMR using the seca 360° wireless.
High capacity and stability
The seca 703 is also suitable for weighing overweight patients. In addition to having a high load-bearing capacity of 660 lbs it also has a sizable but low platform. The cast iron base gives the scale its excellent stability. And as the platform is especially large, this professional scale is safe and comfortable to mount. The ribbed mat is an additional feature ensuring a very safe footing.
Checking the nutritional condition with the BMI function
After weighing the patient and entering the patient’s height, the BMI value can quickly and easily be determined at the touch of a button. This value provides reliable information on the patient’s nutritional condition. With the included measuring rod seca 220, the patient’s height can be measured at the same time.
Comfortable weighing due to TARE and HOLD functions
With the TARE function, it is possible to determine the exact net weight when the patient is dressed or is using an aid when mounting the scale. The HOLD function stores the weight on the display for three minutes after weighing, meaning that the person weighed can first be taken care of before one has to note down the result.
Flexible in use and almost maintenance-free
The column scale Seca 703 can be used flexibly not only because it is easy to move around on the integrated castors but also because it can be operated on battery power, meaning it does not depend on an A/C UL supply. Up to 16,000 weighings are possible with just one set of batteries.
