The Detecto Portable Stretcher Scale is a high-capacity digital scale designed for weighing patients in stretchers, gurneys, or wheelchairs. Featuring clinical-grade accuracy, the Stretcher Scale is ideal for taking weight measurements in the ER, dialysis, long-term care, and nursing homes. Detecto's Stretcher Scale features a low-profile platform with a textured mat surface. The Platform is large in size to accommodate all common stretcher types. Digital Stretcher Scales by Detecto are lightweight for easy portability, designed to be easily lifted and rolled by nursing professionals. The Ramp Scale features a slim profile, capable of fitting through most doorways and is equipped with wheels and guide handles for easy maneuverability. For high durability and longevity, the Portable Stretcher Scale has a mild steel construction. The Stretcher Scale is equipped with Integrated two-way-access ramps to allow easy access. Detecto Portable Stretcher Scales are available with or without an easily collapsible column for the MedVue® Weight Indicator. An optional Guide Rail Kit is available (See Accessories) to help guide stretchers onto the Scale's platform. The Digital Stretcher Scales are proudly made in the USA.
Stretcher Scales by Detecto include the MedVue® Weight Indicator with a backlit blue LCD display for high visibility. The Weight Indicator features a 19 key, color-coded, sealed membrane keypad. Using the Hold/Release key, the Stretcher Scale is capable of holding the measured weight after the patient leaves the scale. A single-pass weighing feature allows for the tare weight to be entered using the indicator keypad. Alternatively, the indicator features a pushbutton tare to remove the stretcher or wheelchair weight when the weight is not already known. Detecto's MedVue® Weight Indicator also includes a Zero function, height entry for Body Mass Index calculation, metric conversion, ID storage, and printer output capability. For connectivity, the indicator features RS232 serial, USB, wired and Wi-Fi Ethernet capability (See Accessories).
