Detecto's NEW SlimPRO Healthcare Scale is a light, easy to use, home measurement scale.
The SlimPRO goes a step above the competition by providing an RS232 serial output port for connectivity with a printer or PC. This allows the SlimPRO to output weight data for efficient patient record keeping. Detecto offers an optional cable for the serial output (in accessories below). The SlimPRO may be connected to a PC for ASCII format weight data to output automatically on a stable weight reading, or this data may be sent directly to a printer for hard copy receipt of the weight reading.

Detecto's optional P50 direct thermal printer may be connected to the SlimPRO via the RS232 serial communication.
The SlimPRO is powered by 4 AAA batteries, which are included with the scale.
Auto-On and Auto-Off functions help conserve battery life.
The scale's big 1.5 in/ 3.8 cm high LCD digits are easily viewable.
A switch on the back of the scale provides the option of switching between metric and english weight measurement units.
Swivel feet on the bottom of the scale make weighing on different types of floors more accurate.
