BSN Medical Sof-Rol® Synthetic Undercast Padding is very soft and absorbent. Sof-Rol® Absorbent Cast Padding is made from 100% surgical grade, needle-loomed rayon fibers. More absorbent than cotton, Sof-Rol Rayon Padding is suitable for use around wounds. The fibers are designed to wick moisture away from the skin's surface, reducing risk for macerations or other skin complications. The absorbent Rayon Fibers have a very high tensile strength, and Rayon Cast Padding may easily be stretched into a narrower width, capable of wrapping around fingers.
