ADA-compliant equipment is now a requirement for many medical facilities, and the DS9100-ADA is certified for ADA compliance. It was engineered in accordance with MDE Standards for wheelchair scales and features an extra-wide, low-profile platform with two gently sloped ramps for enhanced accessibility.
Built on the tested DS9100 series of scales, the DS9100-ADA provides the accuracy and durability needed for years of use in clinical settings. Its 1,000 lb. capacity, LCD display, and Units Lock functionality help ensure clear and precise measurements. The folding design and four sturdy casters allow staff to easily relocate the scale, while hydraulic-assisted opening makes setup quick and convenient. In addition, Doran's EMR-Approved integration supports validated data transfer to compatible EMR systems through RS-232, USB, and WiFi connections.

Tare: Allows an adjustable tare weight for a wheelchair and displays the patient's net weight on the indicator.
Units Lock: Locks the units to either lb or kg, helping prevent accidental unit changes that could result in an incorrect reading.
Average Hold: Designed for patients who have difficulty remaining still by averaging several weights during excessive motion to record an accurate weight.
Stable Hold: Indicates when a stable weight has been achieved and holds it on the display.
Reweigh: Allows a second weight to be acquired while the patient remains on the platform.
BMI: Provides instant BMI calculation with EMR capabilities.
