The base model of the Summit Compact Freezer - the FS30L - can be used in facilities of almost any layout, thanks to the user-reversible door (hinges can be configured on either side). The interior of the Laboratory Freezer features two removable wire shelves. A one-piece interior liner makes it easy to clean the Summit Appliance Freezer during maintenance. Designed for use on uneven floors and surfaces, two of the Medical Freezer's can be height-adjusted until level. The Subzero Freezer operates cleanly and completely free of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). The FS30L has been designed for general purposes in a variety of medical and scientific environments.
In addition to all the above features, the FS30LPLUS2 models of Small Freezer include a traceable digital thermometer. The traceable thermometer features an LCD display on the front of the door with the current, high, and low temperatures clearly shown.FS30LMED models feature all of the above features, as well as a temperature alarm to monitor the interior of the Deep Freezer. If the internal temperature raises above or falls below the range set by the user, an audible alarm will sound to alert personnel to the fluctuation. Additionally, Summit FS30LMED Freezers include a hospital grade power cord that provides a more secure connection to outlets than the standard cord.FS30LMED2 Mini Freezers are the most advanced version of this model, featuring all of the above features as well as a digital thermostat instead of a dial thermostat. The digital thermostat is located on top of the Medical Freezer for easy access and allows specific, exact temperatures to be chosen. The temperatures displayed may be set for Fahrenheit or Celsius.
