EQTemp introduces a new series of affordable, specialty medical refrigeration solutions for healthcare facilities seeking specialized cold storage.
Model ACR161W is a compact 1.58 cu.ft. all-refrigerator. It features a clean white exterior and a blue-accented control panel. The solid door is equipped with a self-closing mechanism to help protect stored items from being overexposed to room temperature. A factory-installed lock offers added security, and the hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug ensures a secure connection for high-traffic areas.
The ACR161W includes an external readout of the interior temperature and the high/low temperature. The buffered temperature probe is encased in a bottle filled with glass beads for improved accuracy. The digital temperature controls allow you to set the interior between 2°C and 8°C. An audible alarm sounds if the temperature goes out of range. We also include a pre-installed 0.38" access port for users to add their own monitoring equipment if preferred.
The interior includes one wire shelf in the center to hold the temperature probes. Internal LED lighting provides an efficient and convenient view. Automatic defrost reduces user maintenance, and an internal fan ensures robust temperature recovery after door openings.
This unit is also available certified to the NSF/ANSI 456 Vaccine Storage Standard with the upgrade of a NIST calibrated temperature readout.
Note: Refrigerators are intended for various healthcare storage applications. Storage of high-value vaccines, life science materials, and medical/clinical biologicals requires a product offering tighter temperature control and/or alarms, monitoring, and backup.

Buffered temperature probe:
Thermometer probe is encased in a glass bead-filled bottle and stored in a fixed box on the center shelf. This is the ideal way to produce temperature readings closest to stored contents, as recommended by the CDC and VFC's guidelines.
Access port:
0.38" probe hole with cover is pre-installed in unit's side to allow easy installation of user-provided monitoring equipment.
Factory installed lock:
Keyed lock for a secure interior (2 keys included).
Automatic defrost:
Reduced user maintenance with automatic defrost.
Internal fan:
Fan-forced cooling ensures the unit is evenly cooled from top to bottom.
Hospital grade cord with 'green dot' plug:
Secure three-pronged cord for added unit safety in high traffic areas.
Fixed center shelf:
Center shelf is fixed in place in order to provide the optimum position for the TMD to provide the most accurate temperature readings.

Foamed-in-place cabinet:

Temperature memory function:
Unit will retain its last settings when power is restored in the event of power loss.

Door will automatically close when left ajar, preventing items from accidentally being left exposed to ambient temperatures.

Handle is recessed into the side of the door to ensure no added depth.
Open door alarm:
Audible alarm sounds if the door is left open for more than one minute.
Digital thermostat:
Digital microprocessor for easy and precise temperature management, with all controls externally located for added convenience.
