Removable polycentric hinges help provide medial and lateral stability and prevent hyperextension by stopping at 0°.

The extra-wide padded armrests and side panels provide comfort and prevent patient injuries.The frame of the Medical Recliner is epoxy-coated and made of welded steel. The vinyl upholstery is quickly removed for cleaning and maintenance to the Medical Reclining Chair. The vinyl back of the Dialysis Chair is mildew, oil, and sulfide stain-resistant.The rear swivel casters have a locking mechanism to prevent the Preferred Care Recliner from moving while reclined. The rear right caster also has a directional lock to keep the Hospital Chair from shifting sideways while moving down hallways. Anti-tippers are standard to add stability to the 565WG.
