Biomedical Services To Extend Medical Equipment Lifespan

For Hospitals: New construction, renovation of existing spaces, and go-live projects spreads internal biomedical resources thin. Temporary supplemental technician resources can keep your team focused on critical equipment and not disrupt current maintenance demands.

For Physicians, Surgery Centers, and Clinics: Designing, implementing, and completing a service schedule is tedious and strains internal resources. Accuracy of vitals and device reliability rely on adequately serviced and calibrated medical equipment.

Whether our mobile biomedical engineers are complementing your in-house resources or establishing equipment maintenance plans for your facility, your medical equipment inspections and preventive maintenance are on time and up to date.

Our Technicians: We employ and train our own technicians, assuring a high level of customer service and ongoing technical support that meets the stringent needs of the healthcare communities we serve. Our Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) ensure that projects stay on track, equipment meets OEM specifications, and that your facility is compliant.

Equipment We Service: We offer preventive maintenance, service, and repair for a wide variety of medical equipment including Vital Signs Monitors, AEDs, Defibrillators, Autoclaves, Infusion Pumps, Suction Units, Ventilators, IT Workstations, Beds, Stretchers, Wheelchairs, and Patient Lifts. We service leading medical equipment brands including Welch AllynZollMidmarkCapsaSeca, and more, and our asset management system keeps everything tracked and organized.

Warranty: All equipment repair, preventive maintenance, technical support, and testing will be performed according to manufacturer’s recommendations. CME’s services will be warranted for ninety (90) days under normal operating procedures.

Solutions For You

Biomedical Staffing Solutions

Support your in-house teams by adding the CME team to your workforce. Let us be an extension to your team, serving your facility on-site with comprehensive equipment installation, asset-tagging, preventive maintenance, inventory validation, PM completions, and go-live project assistance.

Equipment Repair & Preventive Maintenance

When equipment looks poorly maintained, worn, or damaged, it reflects on your facility and can affect patient satisfaction. No matter how new or old your equipment is, our preventive maintenance and equipment repair will ensure patient safety, maximum productivity, compliance, and a longer use life.

IT Arms & Workstation Services

Our service technicians are here to ease your burden. Monitor arms, wall-mounted workstations, and mobile IT carts are heavily used in high traffic environments. We can evaluate, PM, cable manage, integrate peripherals, wall mount new monitor arms, and repair existing arms or workstations, handling any electrical repairs along the way.

Asset Management & Recall Support

All medical equipment maintained will be tagged with a unique identifier. Our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) allows us to track maintenance records, review historical data, and provide regulatory-compliant asset management. In the event a recall notice is received for equipment within your inventory, our support services can assist in handling the required corrective actions and recommendations.

Manufacturer Support Services

Full utilization of directly-hired service technicians can be a challenge for manufacturers whose focus is on creating high quality products and solutions. Trust CME to generate success for your brand. Outsourcing warranty support services and creating an outlet for out-of-warranty options further extend value to your customers, while helping to reduce the expense of underutilized service assets.

New Construction & Renovations

Labor hours add up quickly when it comes to providing new equipment incoming inspections and PM services for existing equipment being re-purposed or moved. Many times, this occurs outside hospital walls and adds travel to the requirements of newly opening facilities. The CME team can supplement your team using your in-house asset tags, inspection stickers, check-in process, and data collection requirements.
