BSN Medical Sof-Rol® Sterile Synthetic Undercast Padding is very absorbent and is gamma-sterilized. Sof-Rol® Cast Padding is made from surgical grade rayon fibers, which are extremely soft and more absorbent than cotton. This high degree of absorbency is ideal for use around wounds. The fibers are also designed to wick moisture away from the skin, reducing risk of maceration. High tensile strength and a conformable stretch allow Absorbent Rayon Undercast Padding to stretch into a narrower profile, capable of being wrapped around smaller body structures.
